Where to stay when you are in Salemi

From beautifully renovated apartments in the Old Town to spacious family villas on the outskirts, Salemi can offer a comfy home-away-from-home to anyone willing to give it a chance.

We’ve been looking around to find the best lodgings for your stay, and in the following sections, you’re about to find top recommendations for places our Salemitani friends provide.

Accommodations in the Old Town

Staying in the Old Town of Salemi is your best choice. If you've come here without a car or don't feel like driving, that's absolutely the right place to stay. The old town is completely walkable and has everything you need for a short or even a longer stay: several restaurants, bars, bakeries, and supermarkets. Not to mention the stunning views you can wake up to.

All historical sites, museums, the Ceramics School, and most events take place here.

If you're one of our coworking buddies at Ciao Salemi, make your Sicilian life easy and don't miss any of the activities we organize by booking accommodation in the old town.

Stay with our friends!

Accommodations within a 20-minute walk from Ciao Salemi

Are you a walk enthusiast? Great! We've got some places that are not too far from the old town, but you'd need to stretch your legs and exercise your lungs a bit to arrive at the co-working space. Don't get me wrong, you don’t need to be a pro athlete for it, you just need to accept the Sicilian “piano piano” philosophy and enjoy every little street in Salemi. Just remember, especially during the summer months, the heat can make for a challening walk. There are also some hills to consider.

We’ve got several options for you which, however, are car dependent.

Ai Cipressi - View Now

Even though it's quite far from the center of Salemi, this accommodation is in a very quiet place surrounded by nature, offering a truly authentic experience. It's no coincidence that it's the favorite B&B of Vittorio Sgarbi, an Italian art critic, art historian, and writer.

Built in the mid-nineteenth century by the hostess's uncle, the house offers three bedrooms, each with unique decor, private bathrooms, parking, a large garden, and a shared lounge area. The hostess is very caring and welcoming, preparing local food for breakfast and, upon request, organizing dinners and Sicilian cooking classes.
